What they actually do
Capture
Photo and video from your own point of view, with a button on the temple. No phone, no arm in the frame, no moment interrupted while you find the shot.
Listen
Open-ear speakers in the arms — music, podcasts and calls without blocking your ears. You still hear traffic, which matters more than it sounds.
Ask
Meta AI, hands-free. Ask about what you are looking at, get directions, send a message — without taking a phone out.
Why buy them here
They can take your prescription. Almost nobody fits them properly.
This is the one piece of technology we sell, and the reason we sell it is that it is still a spectacle frame — which means it can be glazed to your prescription, single vision or progressive, clear or tinted.
It also means it can be dispensed badly. The arms house electronics, so the frame has less adjustment in it than an ordinary acetate, and the fitting heights have to be right the first time. That is a measurement problem, and measurement is what we do.
Choosing a shape
The technology is the same across the range — the decision is the same one you would make about any frame. Wayfarer for a squarer, more familiar line; Skyler for a smaller, softer fit that suits narrower faces; Headliner for something between the two.
Come and try them. Weight distribution on smart glasses is different from ordinary frames — slightly more in the arms, slightly less at the bridge — and it is the sort of thing you can only judge by wearing them for a minute.
Worth knowing before you buy
They charge in their case rather than by cable, so the case travels with you.
A capture light tells people nearby when you are recording. It is not defeatable, by design.
Prescription glazing is done to order, so allow time beyond the frame purchase — we will give you a date at dispensing.
Features depend on the companion app and your region, and Meta adds to them over time.
